This policy describes data processing on windspirit.energy. The planned iOS app is not currently part of this website. A separate policy reflecting the actual app will be provided before its release.

2. Visiting this website
When you visit, your browser transmits connection data needed to deliver the site, including your IP address, the time and the requested page. We process this data to serve the page and protect the service. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure operation). The web server keeps no routine access log. Technically necessary error and security data may be processed briefly.
3. Hosting
The website runs on a dedicated DigitalOcean server in Frankfurt. DigitalOcean processes technical data as hosting provider. Infrastructure and support data may be processed outside the EEA under its terms.
4. No input or tracking services
This website currently has no registration, contact forms or solar calculation. It does not ask for electricity consumption data. We use no analytics or advertising services, cookies, browser storage or externally loaded fonts on this website. Switching languages uses different page addresses.
5. Retention and recipients
Routine web server access logs are not stored. Technically required data is processed only for as long as needed to serve pages, resolve faults or protect the service. Hosting providers may process technical data to the extent needed. Visitor data is not sold.
6. Your rights
Subject to the GDPR, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability and object to processing. You may also complain to a data protection authority. Please send requests by post to the address above.
7. Changes
We will update this policy if the website, its functions or hosting change. The date above identifies this version.
